Charlie Adam

Charlie’s art is a revival of old school graphic styles looking to create visual fun for the viewer.

Drawing since the tender age of 13, Charlie has developed his own, recognizable style offering humoristic, futuristic artwork of a lifestyle that dreams are made of.

Inspired by the simplicity of old picture books by Alain Grée, just as much as the crazy scenes of photographers like David Lachapelle or Terry Richardson, Jim Flora's swinging designs as much as Grant Wood's still compositions, Roger Broders as the Freak Brothers, Disco as Mambo, James Bond as Bob Azzam... As many references with no connections whatsoever, apart from the fact that they inspire more joy into his work everyday.

Being more into underground comics and TV soaps than conceptual art, he'd rather express himself through fun, figurative, quirky graphic design than through some serious theoretical art form.

Based in the Haute Savoie region of France Charlie has devoloped his own unique style and you can see his pictures decorating the walls of many fabulous ski chalets and hotels anywhere from Chamonix to Verbier.

We have chosen some of our favourites to showcase here for our poolside collection in Ibiza. Hope you like them
